The Xenxo S Ring was successfully backed on Kickstarter back in May 2018, raising over $500,000 in the process. Since then, the guys behind Xenxo have provided regular updates on progress, including finding a manufacturer and posting images of beta parts.
We did a preview of our own and were especially impressed by the huge range of features that the Xenxo S-Ring boasts. You can read that review here.
For now, read on for our Xenxo S-Ring Update.
Xenso S-Ring Update
The latest update on their Kickstarter page has some terrific news. They are currently on track for their delivery timeline, which is set to commence in September 2019.
In addition, they have confirmed that the feature set will be as previously communicated! This is terrific news, as we were a little skeptical when we wrote up our preview, that once the ring got into beta testing, there might be some issues fitting all that tech inside an attractive casing. We’re really happy to hear that the team have found a way to make this work.
One interesting image that was included in Xenxo’s update was some wireframes, see below.
This gives an insight into how far much work has to go into creating this new ecosystem. We wish all the team the best of luck in coming up with something really simple to use. Given the number of features, that is definitely going to be a challenge.
We hop you enjoyed our Xenxo S-Ring update and it’s really encouraging to see that things are moving along well for the team. We’ve seen some crowd funded ideas get successfully funded, only to end up being cancelled (check this one out). So when there are success stories like this – we’re all thrilled!
We’ll keep you informed if we hear anything else from Xenxo. For those who were part of the Kickstarter campaign, we’d love to hear from you you!
